Do NOT install this software on the same drive that you need to restore files from! The installation could overwrite the deleted files you are trying to undelete. Instead, install and run this data rescue program on a separate hard disk. You could install EASEUS Data Recovery Wizard Free on a different computer, then connect the hard disk with the lost files to that computer as a second drive. Then scan the second drive for deleted files. If you cannot do this, consider using one of the portable (no installation required) data rescue programs on this site.
EASEUS Data Recovery Wizard Interface
Restoring files with the EASEUS Data Recovery Wizard interface is very simple using the clean and clear interface. There are three main undelete options.
1) Deleted File Recovery - Use this to undelete files that were deleted from the recycle bin.
2) Complete Recovery - Use this to undelete files when they have been lost due to disk formatting.
3) Partition Recovery - Use this to undelete files when the partition has been damaged or deleted.
For example, the hard disk does not display the drive letters.

Restoring files is a simple matter of placing a checkbox next to the files you wish to undelete. The file state indicates what condition the file is in. While the file states are listed as either Unknown, Deleted or Lost / Raw, this is not really an indication of the file's ability to be restored successfully.
In a test, several files listed as "deleted" were undeleted from a jump drive to another external drive and none of them were restored to usable condition. To be fair, these files had been deleted long ago and then overwritten by new data.
