Create a Pop Art Picture in the Style of Andy Warhol
Students create an Andy Warhol inspired pop art portrait of themselves with Paint.NET, a free photo editing and paint program. The steps and techniques used here are simple but the results are still quite good. This lesson is a good illustration of the use of layers in graphics applications.
Students can take headshots of themselves with a webcam or digital camera. It may be helpful if the pictures have been reduced in size and cropped before starting this activity.
