Students Create a Biography Presentation
Students research on the internet to find information about a specific person. Students collect several images of their person. Students create a 4 -5 slide biography of their person using PowerPoint, Apple Keynote, Google Presentations, or similar resource using their research information and images. This research and presentation activity integrates into the social studies / history curriculum.
Grades 3 - 4 - 5
Extension: Digital Storytelling - Save the slides as images and use the images in a voice narrated video slideshow.
Slide 1 - Title Slide - Name of Person
Students add a title with the “Name of their Person.” Students add one or more images of their person. Students add their name.
Slide 2 - Early Life
Students add a title called “Early Life”. Students add one or more images representing their person's early life. Students add two or more facts about their early life.
Slide 3 - Important Accomplishments
Students add a title “Important Accomplishments”. Students add one or more images representing their person's important accomplishments. Students add two or more facts about their most important accomplishments.
Slide 4 - Interesting Facts
Students add a title called "Interesting Facts". Students add one or more images of their person. Students add two or more interesting facts.
