Students Create a Community Helpers PowerPoint Presentation
Students think of 3 community helpers in their neighborhood and create a PowerPoint about how they help the community. Students use the community helpers handout to list their three chosen community helpers and write information about what they do. Students collect several images of their chosen community helpers. Students combine their information and images to create an interesting and informative PowerPoint Presentation.
Integrates Technology into Social Studies
Extension: Save the slides as images. Add the images to digital storytelling program or online slideshow creator and have the students narrate the slides.

Slide 1 - Title Slide - Community Helpers
Students add a title "Community Helpers". Students add three images illustrating their chosen community helpers.Students add their name.
