Students Create One PowerPoint Slide about Habitats
Students create one PowerPoint slide about the desert, forest, rainforest, and ocean habitats. This is an introductory lesson to PowerPoint for younger or less skilled students. Students will open PowerPoint, choose a slide design, add their title "Habitats" and add their name. Students will search clipart for each of the four regions. Students will insert one clipart image for each habitat. Students will insert text boxes to label each image. Students will save the finished slide with a descriptive name "habitats-by-taylor.pptx"
This activity integrates technology intto the Life Sciences curriculum.
