Students research the internet for information about metamorphic rocks, how they are formed, types of metamorphic rocks and their uses, and interesting facts about metamorphic rocks. Student collect several images related to metamorphic rocks. Students use their images and information to create an interesting and informative PowerPoint presentation.
This research and presentation activity integrates technology into the Earth Sciences curriculum.
Grade 4 and up
