Students research the parts of a plant and create a PowerPoint presentation with facts and images.
Students use the internet to research facts the parts of a plant . Students investigate and report facts about plant parts such as seeds, leaves, fruits, flowers, roots and stems. Students should seek at least four reputable and reliable sources for their facts. Students should include multiple images in their presentation representing the various plant parts.
This is a good time to discuss plagiarism and demonstrating how plagiarism can be checked by using free tools such as dustball.com. Students should also provide a bibliography with at least the web addresses where they have sourced their information and images.

The title slide should include the title of the presentation, relevant images related to plant parts and the student's name.

Plant roots slide example:
This slide should explain at least 2 things this plant part does for the plant. This slide should include at least one related picture that clearly shows the plant part.

Plant stems slide example:
This slide should explain at least 2 things this plant part does for the plant. This slide should include a related picture that clearly shows the plant part.

Plant leaves slide example:
This slide should explain two or more things this plant part does for the plant. The slide should have one or more images as examples of the plants anatomy.

Students should make a bibliography slide and keep track of the websites they source as they research their information.
