Students Create a PowerPoint about Whales
Students research the interent for information about things made from whales, what is being done to protect whales and interesting facts about whales. Students collect several images of whales. Students create a 4 slide PowerPoint presentation about whales using their information and images.
This activity integrates techology into the Life Science curriculum.
Grade 3 and up
Slide 1 Title Slide - Whales
Students add a title called "Whales". Students add one or more whale pictures. Students add their name.
Slide 2 - Things Made from Whales
Students add a title "Things Made from Whales". Students add one or more related images. Students use research information to add two or more facts about things made from whales.
Slide 3 - Protecting Whales
Students add a title "Protecting Whales". Student locate and add one or more related images. Students use research information to add two or more facts about what is being done to protect whales.
Slide 4 - Interesting Facts about Whales
Students add a title " Interesting Facts about Whales". Student add two or more related images of whales. Students use research information to add two or more interesting facts about whales.
