How to Make Video Tutorials with a Screen Recorder Pt. 2
Students use a free video screen recorder to make a video tutorial.
Student's record the computer screen while demonstrating how to use Pivot Stick Figure Animator using the free video screen capture program "Cam Studio". This is the second video of a 2 part video project. The two videos created with these tutorials will be combined in a video editing activity.
Student's will use a microphone to narrate the video with instructions during the tutorial.
Plugin a microphone, open Cam Studio and set the recording size to 800 X 600, and enable audio recording. Go to > Region > Fixed Region.
Set the screen recording width to 800 and the height to 600.
Go to > Options > Record audio from microphone.
Record and narrate (explain how to use pivot) your video. Keep the video under 2 minutes. Click the record button to begin recording the screen.
Record the pivot screen area.
Stop the screen recording and save your video when finished.
