Grade 2 and up
Picture Ideas:
1) Cameras - Brainstorm friendship ideas with the students and take pictures of the students enacting the ideas. Make the pictures available for copying and pasting from an online photo gallery or inserting from a shared image folder location. This method is the most personal as it uses images of classmates. This method could take multiple sessions for brainstorming, image aquisition, and poster creation.
2) Internet images - Brainstorm friendship ideas with the students and search the internet for friendship images. Copy and paste the images into the mini friendship poster.
3) Clipart - Use clipart in Microsoft Word or other clipart collections accessible by students.
Finished Mini Friendship Poster Example:
In this example, the image of the student could be taken with a webcam or camera, and the remaining friendship images could be sourced online (Wikimedia Commons) by searching for terms such as "girls" "boys" "friends" "play" and other related terms.
