This is the "Central Message" graphic organizer. This organizer helps students determine a story's central message by organizing the details from beginning, middle, and end. Example: In the beginning, the three little pigs needed safety from the wolf. In the middle, each pig built a house for protection. In the end, only the house made of bricks was safe enough. Students review the story's details and then determine the central message.
