Graphic Organizer - My Book Review

Assignment: Students use this graphic organizer to write an opinion of a book. Students write a brief summary of the book and then provide reasons that they recommend or do not recommend this book. Students download the graphic organizer and open it in Microsoft Word or a compatible word processor and enter their information.

Write opinion pieces in which they introduce the topic or book they are writing about, state an opinion, supply reasons that support the opinion, use linking words (e.g., because, and, also) to connect opinion and reasons, and provide a concluding statement or section. CCSS.ELA-Literacy.W.2.1
